Scooter Club at fiesta sports coaching
Scooter club takes place on a school playground or car park and teaches participants the basics of stopping, starting and turning safely. Everything is conducted in a controlled environment that has been fully risk assessed.
Participants undertake a series of challenges including slaloms through cones and time challenges. Older age groups will learn how to undertake basic tricks and use one of our low level ramps.
The coach will insist that all participants wear helmets and s/he will do a quick visual inspection of the scooter. It is the parents responsibility to ensure that the children bring their own scooter and helmet.
Participants will only be expected to do moves that they have been trained and are confident to do. The coach will do a safety briefing highlight the importance of having awareness of others.
