We work with a range of partners including Uppingham Mini Soccer to be able to offer work experience and sports leadership experience to a range of students from school years 9 to 13
A COMPETITIVE ADVANTAGE
For many youth coaches, this provides them with a competitive advantage when the apply for jobs and universities as it shows a commitment to a structured activity and an ability to work well as part of a team. In some instances, this can lead to paid work placements, e.g. at our camps and extra-curricular clubs.
Many players who come to our camps and clubs as a child, then return as a youth coach to volunteer and gain work experience.
UPCOMING OPPORTUNITIES
Throughout 2019, we are looking to formalise our young sports leader programme to be able to offer a pathway for young people wanting to embark on a journey to becoming a qualified coach or simply to help out with a sport they love. Watch this space for more information coming soon.
